The millionth watch with Piaget’s logo has just arrived from the factory floor.
Piaget Emperador Full-Set Coussin perpetual calendar watch inherits all the traditions of Piaget Piaget, fully showing the Piaget La Côte-aux-Fées haute horology and fine jewelry in the two fields of Geneva’s superb skills.
Only 20 such watches were manufactured in 2010.
This masterpiece is highly technical, developed and designed independently, and is manufactured and assembled in the brand’s La Côte-aux-Fées factory. Piaget’s historical cradle is all used in the manufacture of complex multifunctional watches, where the heart of the watchmaking industry continues to beat. The traditional method is still used to decorate the movement there, and the 856P movement is no exception: its main board and plywood have a round wood grain and have been beveled, the sides are hand-drawn, and the blue screws improve the decoration. The movement is made in La Côte-aux-Fées, while the case is inlaid with gems in the Plan-les-Ouates factory.
